A detailed design brief was prepared and through a series of collaborative design workshops the client’s Principal Project Requirements were finalised capturing Northcott’s operational needs. Key consultants were engaged to design a highly functional and fully accessible building to provide a welcoming centre for Northcott’s clients with disability. The design provided innovative solutions for expansion of the building to cater for future growth of the company while still maintaining a fully operational centre. Cruz Property prepared a detailed project budget and assisted with Board approvals.

The engagement involved providing strategic services to support Grace City in relocating its Waterloo parish to a site in Rosebery, responding to the growing needs of the congregation. A client design brief was prepared and design options review undertaken. A detailed cost plan was prepared as part of the options review to establish a clear and realistic budget and key design priorities. All key consultants were engaged and strategic planning advice provided. Development approval was obtained for the change of use from light industrial to a place of public worship, with complying development strategically used for fit-out. The construction tender was completed, and a thorough value management process was undertaken with the preferred builder to ensure the delivery of a 350-seat auditorium, kitchen, children’s ministry, meeting rooms, breakout space and offices within the church’s budget.

Cruz Property was engaged to complete due diligence and acquisition of a suitable site for a new Day Respite Centre to replace Northcott’s existing centre which was no longer fit-for-purpose. The project involved the adaptive reuse of the well located heritage listed brewery. Cruz Property managed the design, development approval, tendering and construction of Northcott’s new centre. A detailed design brief was prepared and through a series of collaborative design workshops the client’s Principal Project Requirements were finalised capturing Northcott’s operational needs. An architect and key consultants were engaged to design a highly functional and fully accessible building to provide a welcoming centre for Northcott’s clients with disability.
